Using Nintendo DS within Class

Image Sourced from [www.google.co.uk/images]
A great idea came to my attention today, the use of Nintendo DS' within the classroom! By using the basic Pictochat function children can sign into a local chat room (classroom only chat room) and vote, message and draw to the teacher and each other. It is part of the initiative of getting boys to write and is working successfully in our school. The children are learning without realising it which is a great bonus when challenged with children who have distinct barriers to learning.

Give it a go and let me know how you do!

Miss B
